BLS
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists must have a credential(card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. This would also include nursing students, EMT students, and anyone interested in working in the healthcare industry. The BLS class is also intended for federal agents, police officers, and first responders.
HEARTSAVER FIRST AID
American Safety and Health Institute's (ASHI) CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid combination training allows an easy option for students seeking a comprehensive training class that builds the confidence to respond. This first aid, AED, and CPR certification course option is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace settings.
